Founded in 1981 by Dr. Robert Levin, Alabama Pediatrics is dedicated to providing comprehensive health care from infancy to early adulthood with an emphasis on compassion, quality, and efficiency. Originally located on the campus of St. Vincent's hospital, Alabama Pediatrics moved to its present location on Highway 31 in Homewood in 1995. We have 4 board certified physicians to serve your children's health care needs: Dr. Keith Stansell, Dr. Amy Albert, Dr. Mary Evelyn O'Neil, and Dr Heath Pelham. Offering same day appointments on weekdays and Saturday mornings, our on-site x-ray capabilities and comprehensive laboratory services allow us to provide timely care for most medical issues. We are also a certified Travel Clinic, providing necessary vaccinations to travelers of all ages. We accept major insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Viva, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and All Kids. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
